FAQS / About

How long does it typically take to get my music back?

Typically, I can get mastered files back to you 3-4 days from receiving mixes.  Sometimes things need to turnaround more quickly, and I’ll always try to accommodate, so just let me know….

What format should my files be in to go to mastering?

I prefer to receive stereo files that are 32 bit floating point depth (24 bit is fine, too) at the sample rate of the session (not exported higher).  If you have technical questions before sending, feel free to email.   If you are interested in stem mastering, let me know and we can talk through that process.  If you’re interested in sending a spatial mix and having another master done for Atmos/Spatial, let me know about that and we can get that done.

What equipment do you use?

I monitor on Kii Audio Three’s with BXT extension cabs in a well designed room. I use gear made by Maselec, Dangerous Music, Lavry Engineering, Rupert Neve Designs, Knif Audio, Buzz Audio, Spectra 1964, Whitestone Audio, and others.  I often work on analog gear, and then sometimes work completely digitally.  I don’t think you get a badge for doing one or the other exclusively, no matter what you read online.

Payment Methods?

We’ll touch base to confirm rates/availability. When I load everything up, I’ll send an invoice via Quickbooks, and you can pay directly that way.

Who is Voyager Mastering?
